Fault elimination
DANGER
Risk of electric shock and fire
Touching live parts may cause electric shock or even death. Damaged charging cables and
connectors can cause a fire.
•
The system may only be opened and repaired by the manufacturer, its service
department or similarly qualified persons. This also applies to the replacement of a
damaged charging cable.
•
Follow the five safety rules in the event of damage and faults.
Procedure in the event of a fault
If the charging station experiences a fault, proceed as follows:
1.
You can find a selection of possible causes of faults in the Error messages (Page 53) section.
2.
If you are unable to rectify the fault yourself, contact the operator's service hotline.
Resetting to factory settings
If you need to restore the factory settings, proceed as follows:
1.
Switch off the device (close the connection to Siemens Device Management)
2.
Log off from Siemens Device Management
3.
Wait for 5 minutes
Logoff can be verified via the VersiCharge app or via the Internet

through the commissioning process again after the factory settings are restored.
