5.1 Commissioning with PC or mobile device

Commissioning with the "VersiCharge Configurator" PC tool
To perform the commissioning with the "VersiCharge Configurator", follow these instructions:
1.
Download the "VersiCharge Configurator" from the Internet
( https://siemens.com/versicharge ).
2. Install the "VersiCharge Configurator"
3. Create a user account ( https://versicharge.emobility.siemens.cloud/Account/Register )
– Change password
– Set notifications
– Manage contact details
4. Connect your PC to the Wi-Fi of the Wallbox
5. Connect the Wallbox to the Internet. Select an option for your project. The following options
are available.
– Mobile internet (SIM card)
– Wi-Fi
– Ethernet
6. Connect the Wallbox with Siemens Device Management. This takes place automatically.
7. Assign a descriptive name for the VersiCharge Wallbox.
8. Check the settings.
Only the parent unit is directly connected to the Internet. The child units can connect via the
shared Wi-Fi of the parent unit. This is only possible for parent units that are connected to the
Internet via a cellular modem or Ethernet.

Changing the SSID and password

Changing the SSID and password
If you want to change network settings such as SSID and password after the charger has
been successfully connected to Siemens Device Management, proceed as follows:
1. Delete the link of the wallbox with Siemens Device Management via the VersiCharge app
or via https://versicharge.emobility.siemens.cloud/.
2. Repeat the above steps for commissioning.
If a Wi-Fi repeater is later employed, we recommend using the same SSID and password that
were used when registering the charger.
