Safety measures during assembly

General information

Charging of electric cars must guarantee high electrical performance over long periods. The

installation and pre-installation of the charging station must comply with the power

requirements. To ensure that these requirements are fulfilled correctly, these installation

instructions are intended for qualified and trained electricians. As a qualified electrician, you

are responsible for safety, not only during installation, but also during subsequent use by the

operator and the end user.

To this end, follow The five safety rules for electrical work (Page 13).
Mount the charging station on a load-nearing wall or on a stele intended for this purpose.
Feed the cables through the base of the charging station.

DANGER

Risk of electric shock due to exposed electrical connections and components

Before starting the installation work, check that the supply cable has been disconnected

from the mains and secured against restart.
Do not connect the charging station if damage or tampering is visible.

WARNING

Follow all safety instructions. This will help you avoid hazardous situations that could result

in serious injury or death.
Comply with all national requirements for testing the installation. Only qualified personnel

may install the charging station. The following points described the step-by-step installation

of the charging unit. Additional steps may be necessary in your location of use. These

assembly instructions therefore do not claim to be exhaustive.
