Transmission Concept
On the DLE, a data stream is generated at the transmit side from the protection commands, RM, SC, and the
system-internal control information. The data stream is sent with the periodic transmission of 4 message types
with constant length. The data stream is split up again at the receive side into protection commands, RM, SC,
and system-internal control information.
The messages have the following elements:
