Select New in the Data Source menu for the selection of the device type (PowerLink or SWT 3000).

If you select Data Source > Device, the data are read in from the connected terminal. The program attempts
to establish a connection to the unit (PowerLink or SWT 3000) and then loads the data of the unit into the
system memory of the service PC. Afterwards, the downloaded data can be processed. The program detects
from which unit (PowerLink or SWT 3000) the data were read and automatically changes to the appropriate
program level.
Remote Device
Remote device denotes the Remote Monitoring function of the unit.
With this function, device data can be transmitted between one of the following cases:
•
The terminals of one or more carrier frequency (CF) routes
•
2 PowerLink or SWT 3000 units
•
RM connection can be established over a chain of equipment

NOTE
This function requires activating the RM and a corresponding configuration and address setting in the
devices.
