Most service providers supply an ex-
ternal voice mail service. A caller
may leave a voice message for you in
this mailbox
• if your phone is switched off or
not ready to receive,
• if you do not want to answer,
• if you are making a phone call

is not activated,
If voice mail is not part of your ser-
vice provider's package, you will
need to register and settings may ha-
ve to be made manually. The follo-
wing description may vary slightly,
depending on the service provider.
Listening to message
A new voice message can be an-
nounced as follows, depending on
the service provider:
Icon plus beep.
Or
A text message announces
a new voice message.
Or
You receive a call with an automatic
announcement.
To listen to the mailbox:

Press.
Away from your home network you
may have to dial a different mailbox
number and enter a password before
you can listen to any messages.
Settings
The service provider supplies you
with two phone numbers:
Save mailbox number
Call this phone number to listen to
the mailbox.
To change the phone number:

Save call divert number
Calls are diverted to this
phone number.

Registering with the network starts.
Divert will be confirmed after a few
seconds. Further information on call
