"2.4.2.1 Turning point 0%" to "2.4.2.21 Turning point 100%"
Requirements:
The specified setpoint turning points become effective only when
"Free characteristic curve" is set in parameter "2.4.1.5 Characteristic"
(Page 84). You can only enter one monotone rising characteristic
curve and two consecutive turning points must differ by at least 0.2%.
Factory setting:
0.0 %; 5.0 %; 10.0 % ... 90.0 %; 95.0 %; 100.0 %
Setting range:
0.0 ... 100.0 %
Purpose:
Assignment of flow value, e.g. adjustment to geometric form of valve
plug.
Description:
Use these menus to assign a flow value of 5% to the respective
setpoint turning point.
The setpoint turning points result in a polygon function with 20 straight
line sections. The polygon function thus indicates the adjustment of
the setpoint to the desired flow.
"2.4.3 Controller parameter"
The controller parameters are used to set the dynamic behavior of the positioner. To this
end, the controller parameters must be adjusted to the actuator. The controller is adjusted
during the initialization process. During the initialization, the following parameters are
determined from the marginal conditions in which the controller is used, and then
automatically saved in the controller. If the standard initialization does not conform to the
special requirements of your application, adjust the parameters accordingly in the
subsequent menus. The following table contains an overview of the menus and parameters:

Purpose:
Optimizing the control parameter.
Description:
Use this function when you only want to determine the control
parameters and do not require a complete initialization. For example,
function is needed if the air pressure deviates from the air pressure
during initialization.
