The positioner regulates e.g. valves:
● With a linear actuator or an integrated linear actuator with an interface according to
VDI/VDE 3847. The linear actuator with an interface according to VDI/VDE 3847 requires
only a magnet clamp for position detection and no additional mounting kit.
● With a part-turn actuators or an integrated part-turn actuators with an interface according
to VDI/VDE 3847. The part-turn actuator with an interface according to VDI/VDE 3847
requires only a magnet clamp for position detection and no additional mounting kit.
Digital inputs
In its standard form, the electropneumatic positioner has two digital inputs DI 1 and DI 3.
Digital input DI 1 can be parameterized and assumes e.g. the following tasks:
● Blocking the actuator
● Moving the actuator
Digital input DI 3 is only used to move the actuator into a safety position.
Option modules
The device provides slots for option modules, which can be used to retrofit the following
functions or order them directly from the factory:
● Position feedback module
Position feedback is carried out as a 4 to 20 mA signal.
● Alarm module
– 3 freely parameterized digital outputs
– 1 freely parameterized digital input (digital input DI 2)
