This device has been tested and found to comply with the limits RS- 211 - Level Probing
Radar Equipment. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against
harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment.
•
This device is certified to measure levels in fixed or mobile enclosed tanks made from
metal, concrete or materials with similar RF attenuating properties.
•
Devices equipped with the aluminum horn or the 3 inch or 4 inch stainless horn antennas
may be used to measure levels in open air environments or outside enclosed tanks,
subject to the following conditions:
–
Devices shall be installed and maintained to ensure a vertically downward orientation
of the transmit antenna’s main beam.
–
Devices shall be installed only at fixed locations. Devices shall not operate while being
moved or while inside a moving container.
–
Hand-held applications and residential use are prohibited.
