HART address

Function

POLLING ADR:

Sets the device address in a HART network.
For point-to-point configurations the standard address is zero (0).
For multidrop configurations, use a non-zero HART address, i.e. 1 to 63.

7.10

Safety

7.10.1

user PIN

Is used to activate/deactivate the user PIN. If the user PIN is activated, a PIN must be

entered when changing parameter settings.

Note

The device is unlocked on delivery.
A  change  of  the  setting  for  parameter  " 

User  PIN

"

  does  not  take  effect 

immediately.

 

After changing the setting, the device must be restarted or ten (10) 

minutes must

 

elapse before the change takes effect.
