Activate the deep sleep function. 
Use of key combinations (Page 43)

Wait for a further 30 s.

Open the device. 
To do this, unscrew the cover at the rear of the device.

Remove the battery from its holder. 

5.

 

Hold the battery, and carefully unplug the connector.
