Commissioning

6.1

Commissioning the 3RW50 soft starter

Procedure

Install the 3RW50 soft starter (Page 51).

Connect the 3RW50 soft starter (Page 73).

Parameterize the 3RW50 soft starter according to the application with the setting

suggestions (Page 95).
If necessary, optimize the setting suggestions step by step (Page 94).
For example, you can continually adjust the current limiting factor while the motor is

starting up.

Perform the self-test (user test) (Page 179).

Optionally seal the 3RW50 soft starter with a lead seal (Page 116).

Result

The 3RW50 soft starter is now ready for operation.
