NOTICE
Device failure
The internal electronics can be damaged if you make the signal connections with the device
switched on.
•
Therefore disconnect the SIPROCESS UV600 from the power supply before you make
the signal connections.
Note
Measured-value output during calibration
The measured calibration gas values are output during the calibration, and the status
"Function check" is activated.
•
Check that the status message is displayed externally or has to be processed.
•
Make sure that the corresponding digital output is installed.

Connection of the signal cables
The signal connections are available at terminal strips X3, X4, X5 and X7 on the 12-pin plug
connectors of the input/output modules (see following Fig.). Depending on the configuration,
the device has 1 or 2 input/output modules. The scope of delivery includes the
corresponding counterparts with screw terminals.
