Installation requirements 

4.3.1

 

Environmental conditions 

Select an installation location inside a closed building which is as vibration-free as possible. 

Outdoor installation of the device is not permissible!  
Furthermore, the location must be dry and frost-free, and the permissible relative humidity 

must be observed. Condensation must be avoided, both inside and outside the enclosure. 
During operation, make sure that the permissible ambient temperature of 5 °C to 45 °C is 

maintained.  
Avoid direct sunlight on the analyzer. 
The air circulation at the cooling ribs of the device must not be hindered. 

4.3.2

 

Installation conditions 

The device must be installed with the base horizontal.  
If the SIPROCESS UV600 is installed in a cabinet or desktop housing, it must be supported 

on rails. It is not sufficient to only secure the front side, since the weight of the device would 

load the chassis too greatly. 

 

 

CAUTION 

Safety hazard resulting from insufficient securing of analyzer

When selecting mounting elements, ensure that they are suitable for the analyzer's 

weight. 

•

 

Before securing the analyzer, check 

–

 

the loading capacity of the wall or 

–

 

the specifications of the mounting cabinet. 

 

If further devices are to be installed above or below the SIPROCESS UV600, an 

intermediate space of at least 1 HU must be provided.
