Automatic measuring point switchover
Measuring points are sampling points for the sample gas. The analyzer can control up to
eight measuring points using the automatic function, i.e. output control signals for switching
over the sample gas path. The following can be set for each measuring point:
Parameter
Explanation
Name of measuring
point
Freely selectable name
Purging time
Waiting time following switching over before the measured value is output
Measuring time
Duration of measurement at the measuring point
Digital output
Digital output for controlling the switchover
Requirements
●
Separate equipment for switching over the gas supply between the measuring points (e.g.
solenoid valves).
●
Electric connections to the controlling digital outputs (if required: additional, intermediate
electronic equipment, e.g. power relay).
●
Programmed measuring points (process tags)
Effects
If measuring points are programmed and active, there are measured values of a component
from the individual measuring points in addition to the current value of the component.
Component, measuring point, and last measured value are displayed in the menus for the
measured-value displays. Therefore not only the current measured value of a component
can be selected, but also the values from the individual measuring points. This effect can
also be deactivated.
