Saving/restoring data
Using the data backup functions you can internally save a copy of the current settings
("Save") or replace the current settings by a saved copy ("Download").
Two copies can be saved in each case ("last", "last but one"). Downloading of the original
factory settings is suitable e.g. for tests.
Menu call:
Main menu → Maintenance → Data backup
The following menu is displayed:
Initially select the scope of data backup using the
,
and
keys.

System: complete system (all analyzer modules)
●
Module: a specific module which can be selected under point 2.
You must select this module using the
,
and
keys.
Then select the desired function using the
,
and
keys.
●
Save: a copy of the current settings is saved.
The following message is displayed if this function is selected: "...save?" which you can
confirm by pressing the
key.

Download: the current settings are replaced by a saved copy.
If this function is selected, a further menu is displayed with the options:

Last: replaces the current settings by the last saved copy
–
Last but one: replaces the current settings by the penultimate saved copy
–
Factory: replaces the current settings by the factory settings.
The following message is displayed if the desired function is selected: "...download?"
which you can confirm by pressing the
key.
The analyzer is automatically restarted following the backup procedure. As a result, the
measuring function is temporarily canceled. The analyzer is ready for operation again
following execution of the restart.
