Suitability of gas supply/discharge lines
Unsuitable cables may result in personal injury and/or property damage. The following applies
if you use the device in hazardous areas:
● Make sure that all gas lines satisfy the requirements for operation in hazardous areas.
Note
Incorrect measured values due to burning off of sample gas
When burning off sample gas, pressure variations in the exhaust gas line may falsify the results.
We therefore recommend the following measures:
● Install a pneumatic lowpass: install a damping vessel with downstream restrictor (volume
> 1 l) between the device and the exhaust line.
● Make sure that a technical expert for hazardous areas examines and approves the
measures. Only commence operation of the device following the approval.
