Hardware requirements
Requirements for commissioning
Before commissioning starts, the system components must be installed and wired up.
The following is necessary:

SIMATIC S7 CPU / SIMOTION with PROFIBUS DP interface
●
PROFIBUS DP
●
SIPLUS HCS3200 heating controller
7.1.2
Integrating the GSD file
You will need the language-specific GSD file "SIEM81A4.GSx" for PROFIBUS configuration.
For this purpose, the GSD file must be installed in the configuration software.
You can download the GSD file from the Siemens Service&Support website
http://www.siemens.com/automation/service&support
Procedure
If this GSD file is not yet available in your configuration software version, integrate the GSD
file in STEP 7 V5.x or in STEP 7 V11 and higher (TIA Portal) in accordance with the online
help for STEP 7.
If a non-Siemens DP master is used, install the GSD file as described in the manufacturer's
instructions.
