Purpose of this documentation
These operating instructions contain all the information you require to commission and use
the SIPLUS ECC8000 function unit.
It is intended for use by electrically skilled persons who commission the device.
Scope of validity of this documentation
This documentation is valid for the SIPLUS ECC function unit described in the operating
instructions, and refers to the state of delivery starting May 2011.
The described product is based on the following standard
Based on IEC 61851-1:2001: Charging mode 3.
Conventions
Within this manual, both the long name, such as SIPLUS ECC8000 SYS-101A, as well as
the short name, such as SYS-101A, are used for the product designations of the SIPLUS
ECC products.
