Maintenance
The SYS-101A function unit is maintenance-free.

Should you nevertheless want to work on the device, make sure that the system is
disconnected from the power supply.
WARNING
Voltage hazards
Contact with live components can result in serious injuries. Disconnect the system and
all devices from the power supply before starting work.
Note
The function unit has safety and non-safety circuits (Form 1).
Safely isolated circuits are the connections CF and PX on the CM-100 to terminal X2: 6
and 7. They are routed double-insulated.
Repair
1. If the device is faulty, switch off the respective fuse outlet in your in-house distribution
board, and secure this against being switched back on.
2. Then remove the function unit from the enclosure. Proceed in the reverse order to that
described in Section Installation (Page 17).
3. Send the removed function unit to the Returned Goods Center (Page 31) in Fürth,
Germany.
