6.1.4 Creating a machine in the form of a copy
Function description
Before ePS Network Services can be used on a machine, it must be set up on the
ePS server. To make it easier to set up similar machines, a machine that has al-
ready been set up can be created as a copy. All of the configurations are adopted
by the existing machine, with the exception of the machine master data, which
must be edited as the machine ID will be the unique point of identification for the
new machine.
In addition to copying, the following functions are also available in the "Machines"
menu:
•
Editing the master data of the machine
•
Deactivating, activating or deleting a machine
•
Copying a machine with its settings and user configurations to a new machine
that is then created.
