Replacing the battery in the fan/battery module of the SIMOTION Control Units

Procedure

Figure 9-1

Change the battery in the fan/battery module

To change the battery in the fan/battery module, proceed as follows:
1. Press the snap-in lug 

①

 of the fan/battery module to the back.

This detaches the module from its front latching device.

2. Pull the fan/battery module downwards.
3. Withdraw the fan/battery module towards the front from the recess in the Control Unit.
4. Remove the battery using a screwdriver (laterally).
5. Withdraw the connector

6. Insert plug 

④

 of the new battery into socket 

③

 in the fan/battery module.

7. Press in the battery.
8. Hold the fan/battery module at an angle to the front with the open side facing up (battery 

visible).
