Requirements for mounting the rotor segments
Mounting surface for rotor segments
We recommend using an assembly surface with a mechanical stop as shown in the
diagram below to assemble the rotor segments. If the mechanical stop is too low, then
the rotor segment can be inadvertently pushed over it.

Note
Increased torque ripple due to uneven gaps between rotor segments
Between the rotor segments, very uneven gaps can arise during assembly. In particular
between the rotor segments mounted first and last, a large gap of several millimeters
can arise. Uneven gaps between the rotor segments results in increased torque ripple.
•
The fastening holes on the carrier wheel for the rotor segments are positioned
precisely. The maximum permissible position tolerance is 0.2 mm.
•
The diameter of the hole is no more than 1 mm larger than the diameter of the screw.
•
All hole diameters are equal.
•
The widths of the T-sliding blocks have a very small tolerance (no more than +/-
0.1 mm). Fit the rotor with T-sliding blocks from the same production unit (batch).
Calibrated torque wrench
Use a calibrated torque wrench to tighten the screws.
