Procedure to rotate the rotor
The procedure depends on the number of Motor Modules and the stator segments
connected in parallel. The following preconditions must be satisfied for the procedures
subsequently described:
•
The drive must be correctly connected up
•
Reduced controller gain
•
Low speed
Procedure for one stator segment for each Motor Module
1.
Activate the master drive and deactivate the slave drives (e.g. p840 = 0).
2.
Disconnect all slave drives.
3.
Carefully note that each rotor movement with respect to the stator - and vice versa -
results in a voltage being induced at the stator segment power connections.
4.
Ensure that the conductor ends are open circuit so that you do not create a short-
circuit.
5.
Rotate the master drive at the control panel.
6.
Measure all stator segments of the slave drives one after the other.
7.
Reconnect a slave drive.
8.
Disconnect the master drive.
9.
Rotate a slave drive from the control panel and measure the stator segment of the
master drive.
