Example of force distribution for a rotor segment
With a friction value of 0.1 and an M10 screw with property class 8.8, a tightening torque
of 41 Nm is obtained. This gives an initial tension force of 28.5 kN.
If, for example, you attach each T-sliding block using two screws, then the force is
distributed as follows:
•
At the top, the force is distributed between the two contact surfaces between the
segment and the fixing structure.
•
At the bottom, the force is distributed over the surface between the screw heads and
the mounting structure.

WARNING
Risk of injury and material damage as a result of incorrect mounting sequence
Injury and/or destruction of motor components can occur if you do not observe the
specified sequence when mounting the segments.
•
Carefully comply with the specified sequence when mounting the segments.
