10.2.1

A docking station with USB cable to connect the PC to the SIMATIC RF310M.

10.2.2

Working with ActiveSync or the synchronization center

The ActiveSync program (Windows XP) or Synchronization Center (Windows 7) establishes

a connection via USB to the SIMATIC RF310M. You can now copy data and programs very

easily in the manner familiar from Explorer. You only need to select the "Flash Disk"

directory in the Explorer. It is also possible to access the SIMATIC RF310M device directly

with Active Sync / Synchronization Center.
Below, the section describes how to work with the ActiveSync program.

Requirements for opening the RF310M workstation

The USB driver for the PSION Workabout Pro is installed.

●

The ActiveSync/Synchronization Center program from Microsoft is installed.

●

The SIMATIC RF310M is in the docking station and connected to the PC via the USB
