Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 

The device features a so-called Trusted Platform Module (TPM) according to standard 2.0. 

You can enable this module in the Security dialog of BIOS-Setup. Follow the instructions of 

BIOS Setup. 
The Trusted Platform Module can be used, for example, in combination with BitLocker drive 

encryption under Windows 7 and Windows 10. Follow the instructions of the operating 

system.  

 

 

Note 
Improper usage poses the risk of data loss. Always keep the keys and passwords in a 

secure place. Encrypted data cannot be retrieved. The Siemens warranty does not cover a 

hardware reset after loss of the password.
