Procedure
Clamp the cable lug on the protective conductor.
Firmly attach the cable lug to the protective conductor connection
on the device using the M4 thread (see part labeled).
Connect the protective conductor to the protective conductor con-
nection of the cabinet or the plant in which the device is installed.

Connecting the power supply
Note
The equipment is designed for operation with Safety Extra-Low Voltage (SELV) or Protective
Extra-Low Voltage (PELV).
Note
The 24 VDC power supply must be adapted to the input data of the device (see Technical data
(Page 66)).
Requirements
•
The protective conductor is connected.
•
You are using the supplied terminal.
•
A two-core cable with a cable cross-section of 0.75 mm
2
to 2.5 mm
2
for the 24 VDC
connection.
•
Tightening torque: 0.5 to 0.6 Nm
•
A slotted screwdriver with approximate 3 mm blade.
