Replacing the redundant power supply module
If a fault or an error has been reported for the redundant power supply, the LED of the
defective module lights up, see section "Power indicators, redundant power supply
(Page 18)". The device also works with the second, non-defective module.
Note
However, to ensure the availability of your system through the redundant power supply,
replace the defective power supply module with a functioning new module as soon as
possible.
•
You can continue to operate the device until you can shut it down properly.
•
The replacement of one of the two modules of the redundant power supply can be
performed, however, without shutting down the device (Hot Swap).
Requirement
•
The power supply lines are connected, see section "Connecting a redundant power supply
(Page 39)"
Procedure

power supply module to be replaced.
3. Acknowledge the warning signal on the
LED
④
.
4. Tilt the handle

5. Unlock the power supply module at the
pin

.
6. Slide the new power supply module into
the frame all the way to the rear until it
clicks into place.
7. Reconnect the power plug
