8.1 Meaning of the LED states
LED state Error Causes and remedies
LC LED off. Load cell channel not
active.
LC LED lit red. Channel alarm Compare with the specifications of the parameter Load cell input status
(Page 21).
LC LED lit green. Channel active and
no error.
PWR LED lit green. Status supply availa‐
ble / data set ready
ERR LED lit red. SG-Shield error Compare with the specifications of the parameter Device status (Page 21).
8.2 Meaning of the device status

tus Error Causes and remedies
Bit 0 QI flag Group message, 0 = There is at least one error; 1 = No error
Bit 1 Load cell input faulty There is an error in the load cell input status.
• For details, check the load cell input status.
Bit 2 Checksum error Checksum error program code. Critical error because the program is no longer
safe.
Bit 3 Checksum error (data) Checksum error at parameter. Critical error because the parameters are no
longer safe.
Bit 4 Watchdog error Watchdog, error is displayed for at least 10 seconds.
A serious error has occurred in the function of the electronic weighing system,
for example, a program error or severe electromagnetic influence on device
electronics.
• Contact SIWAREX Support if the error occurs multiple times.
Bit 5 ADC error AD converter error when reading in the measured value.
• If the error occurs again, make sure that the EMC recommendations are
observed.
Bit 6 Temperature warning Electronics temperature is outside the permissible ambient temperature.
• Check the permissible ambient temperature in the section: Technical data
(Page 29).
Bit 7 Firmware update error It was not possible to update the firmware. Try again.
• Contact SIWAREX Support if the error occurs multiple times.
