Preparations

Isolate the device from mains and disconnect all connection cables.

Required tools

You need the following screwdrivers to remove the the DVD burner:

Torx T10 to mount/remove the drive bay

Torx T6 to install/remove the drive

Removing the DVD burner drive

How to remove a DVD burner drive
1 Remove the drive bay module.
