4.5 Connecting the Encoders
Please note:
Note
Use only shielded cables. The shielding must be connected to the metallic or
metallized connector jacket.
The cable sets supplied as an accessory offer excellent immunity from inter-
ference, as well as cross-sections large enough for the power supply to the
encoders.
When cables are routed unprotected, the cable shielding must be connected
to a grounded shielding bus over a large contact area in the proximity of the
FM 453 and the sensors.
