8. You can start the Windows Me setup after the data transfer and after having
confirmed the completion prompt via the program
HD:\WIN9x\SETUP.EXE
(HD: drive on which the folder WIN9x was transferred to).
8.3.1 Installing Drivers under Windows Me
In order to add or change the device driver of any hardware component proceed as
follows:
Procedure
•
Open the dialog box “System Properties”, Click “Start” , point to “Settings”, click
“Control Panel” , then double-click “System” .
•
Click the “Device Manager” tab, click on the plus sign next to the hardware type
and then double-click on the selected hardware component.
•
Click the “Driver” tab and then click “Update Driver”, then follow the instructions
that appear on your screen.
•
The “Driver” tab may not be available for some devices. In this case try to
change the driver by double-clicking on the desired hardware icon in the
“Control panel”.
8.4 Installing Drivers and Software
Installieren the drivers and software from the supplied CD ”Backup PG”. Proceed
as follows:
1. Insert the CD
2. Acrobat Reader must be installed
3. Navigate through the driver list to ../Drivers/FieldPG.pdf
4. Install the desired driver according to the Driver List.
