Minimum clearances
Maintain the following minimum clearances when installing or uninstalling the ET 200MP. To
the left and right a marginless installation is possible, i.e. the modules may be installed up to
the outer edge of the mounting rail.

Installation rules
● The installation begins on the left side with an interface module, or a power supply
module followed by an interface module.
● These are followed by a number of I/O modules, that can be powered by the interface
module, or by the power supply module (+ interface module). You can determine the
maximum number of I/O modules by means of a power budget calculation (Page 103).
● The modules are connected to each other with U connectors.
● Note that no U connector protrudes from the first and last module.
Note
Only insert modules when the power is switched off.
Remove the front cover
As needed the front cover can be completely taken off (e.g. during wiring).
