Commissioning the control unit on the fieldbus 

Introduction 

If your control unit has a USS, PROFIBUS or PROFINET module, you can operate the 

control unit on each field bus with a higher-level controller. 
The following procedure describes how to commission a SIDOOR control unit on the 

respective fieldbus. 

Commissioning the control unit on the USS fieldbus 

We recommend the following initial commissioning procedure for a control unit as USS slave 

on the USS fieldbus:
