External closing force
Description of function
Closing mechanisms in the form of a counterweight or a spring are permissible for a
particular system.
You will find the permissible counterweights in Section Technical specifications (Page 223).
WARNING
Risk of injury due to moving mechanical parts
Make sure that with an additional external closing force the sum of external closing force
and force set in the controller does not exceed the maximum force limit of 150 N (according
to EN 81).
Check the final application-specific limit values and adjust the limit values accordingly.
SIDOOR ATD400S and SIDOOR ATE250S
An external closing force on the user side is not provided for in SIDOOR ATD400S and
SIDOOR ATE250S controllers. However, an external closing force (counterweight, spring)
can be installed.
This must be taken into account in the parameter assignment of the door control system.
