8.4.1
Requirements for SIDOOR ATD400T power supply
The power supply voltage in rail vehicles is typically 110 V DC. A DC-DC transformer is used
on the customer side to generate the supply voltage for the controller.
In normal operation, the supply voltage for the SIDOOR ATD400T RELAY must be U
rated
=
24 V DC. (U
min
= 16.8 V DC, U
max
= 36 V DC).
To comply with the EMC requirements for emitted interference set out in EN 50121-3-2, a
line filter must be installed in the DC power supply (see section SIDOOR EMC-FILTER
(Page 289)).
The cable between the line filter and controller should be as short as possible and not
exceed 500 mm in length. Cables with cross-sections from 1.5
mm² to 2.5
mm² can be used.
A WAGO 721-103/026-045 connector is required for the connection to the controller.
When the motor acts as a generator to decelerate the weight of the door, a voltage of up to
42 V results at the DC power supply connection to the SIDOOR ATD400T RELAY. In a fault
scenario, a voltage of up to 65 V could occur.
The user may have to take suitable measures to protect the supply source from this effect.
The source must not supply more than 21 A. The supply must not deliver any higher currents
or voltages than those stated above.
