8.4.3.1 Mounting the handle on the door
The following modifications of the handle can only be performed as long as the handle has
not been mounted on the cabinet door:
● Deactivation of the door interlocking
● Activation of the locking function in the ON position
● Mounting of the inscription label
If you want to use these functions/accessories, you should perform the necessary steps
before continuing to mount the handle on the door.
You will find more information on the functions/accessories in chapters Functions and
operation (Page 94)and Accessories for 8UD (Page 103).

Note
8UD handles can be used in doors with a thickness between 2.0 and 5.5 mm. The 24 V DC
power supply is only relevant if a version of the 8UD handle with illumination is used.
