(US version))
Description
With this command, you have two options of changing to the DHCPPOOL configuration
mode and to assign an interface to the IPv4 address band.
1.
If you call the command
ip dhcp-server pool
with the parameter
pool-id (1-5)
, you
change directly to the DHCPPOOL configuration mode.
If the ID of the addressed IPv4 address band does not yet exist, it is first created and
assigned to an interface by default. You then configure the interface and the other
settings in the DHCPPOOL configuration mode.
2.
If you call the command
ip dhcp-server pool
with the parameter
show-interface-options
,
you call a variant of the command. With this variant, you assign an interface to the IPv4
address band and change to the DHCPPOOL configuration mode. If the ID of the
address IPv4 address band does not yet exist, it will be created. You then configure the
other settings in the DHCPPOOL configuration mode.
