2.2
Notes on batteries
There are batteries on the system’s motherboard, in the emergency power supply
(BBU, optional), in the uninterruptible power supply (UPS, optional) and in the
monitors.
Do not attempt to open, pierce or crush batteries. Never throw batteries
into a fire.
When disposing of used batteries, observe local regulations on the disposal of
hazardous waste.
2.3
Compliance with EU regulations
This device complies with the requirements of EU directive 89/336/EEC
“Electromagnetic Compatibility”, as indicated by the CE (Communauté
Européenne) symbol on the back of the device.
2.4
RFI suppression
Any other devices which are attached to this product must likewise comply in respect
of RFI suppression with EU directive 89/336/EEC or BMPT (Bundesministerium für
Post und Telekommunikation/German Federal Ministry for Post and Telecommuni-
cations) directive No. 1046/84 or No. 243/91.
Products which meet this requirement are accompanied by a certificate to that effect
issued by the manufacturer and/or bear the CE symbol. In Germany, products which
do not comply with these conditions may only be operated after special authorization
has been granted by the BZT (Bundesamt für Zulassungen in der Telekommuni-
kation, the German PTT licensing body).
