Programmable sensor keys
Your OpenStage 80/80 G has nine (OpenStage 60/60 G: eight) illuminated
sensor keys to which you can assign functions or numbers.
Depending on how they are programmed, you can use the sensor keys as:

Function keys
•
Repdial keys

•
Direct station selection keys
Touch the key to activate the programmed function or dial the stored num-
ber.
Press and hold the function key to open a menu for programming it.
A label for the function is displayed to the left of the key; it cannot be
changed. You can define the labeling for repdial or DSS keys according to
your requirements
The status of a function is shown by the LED on the corresponding sensor
key.
Meaning of LED displays on function keys
Increase the number of programmable sensor keys by connecting a
key module
Only for repdial keys can you also program the second level for di-
rect destination selection.
Your telephone can be configured so that direct station selection
keys cannot be set up, thus facilitating data and personal security.
