4.14 Mount and install PN1002-A1
The 'RS485 module (1 port)' PN1002-A1 provides an isolated 'PACE-Bus' (RS485)
connection, an isolated 24 V with integrated ground fault detection, and connectors
for isolated analog audio inputs and outputs.
One PN1002-A1 can be mounted on the Novigo Core audio matrix board in the
options area.
Mount the PN1002-A1 on position 'UI1' on the digital audio matrix board. Plug the
PN1002-A1 to the connectors 'UI1-A' and 'UI1-B'. Fasten it with the 2 enclosed
screws to the studs (marked in red circles)
Fig. 21: Mount PN1002-A1
Connect the analog audio input from the PN1002-A1 to the digital audio matrix
board. Use an enclosed cable to connect 'UI1-C' (to intern 'Audio In') with the
required analog audio input. See
If required to connect the analog audio output from the PN1002-A1 to the digital
audio matrix board, use an enclosed cable to connect 'UI1-D' (from intern 'Audio
Out') with the required analog audio output. See
