Master Transmit
The bus master requires a circulation list to determine the order
in which the slaves are scanned. A slave can be entered in the
list more than once. The respective slave numbers ( 1 to 31)
must be entered in one byte. Slave number 0 ends the
circulation list. Also, the SINEC L1 master always contains the
slave 1 (data exchange master <-> slave directly without
bus). Receiver number 31 sends a telegram to all slaves.
Actions/Reactions
The basic sequence of the data exchange has already been
explained in the section "Actions/Reactions Standard Serial
Interface".
The following deviations occur during SINEC L1 operation:
A telegram that has been sent to all bus users will not be
acknowledged by them.
Interrupt telegrams and laterial communication (SLAVE -->
SLAVE) are not possible.
Flag bytes 18 and 19 are to be used as flags (see Chapter
3.4.5.2 Expansion Serial Interface
The structure of the expansion serial interface is analogous to
the structure of the standard interface; with PREMID driver, but
without SINEC L1.
The flags to be used are FY 14 and 15 (see Chapter 3.3.2.10
Using the procedure LAUF,
“
XON/XOFF" can be switched on
from the transmitting side.
Additional Functions with LAUF:
Using the expansion serial interface, a start and a stop
character can be freely defined by setting DR 47 bit 5. The start
character is stored in DL 76; the stop character is stored in
DR 76. If FFH is used as start character, no start character will
be sent.
In addition, a checksum byte can be switched on with DR 47
bit 6. The checksum byte for reception is stored in DL 77; the
checksum byte for transmitting in DR 77. Before transmitting,
the checksum byte must be calculated by the user or checked
after the receipt of a telegram, respectively.
