The simulators can be connected directly to connectors X2 or X3. The 2 x 8 LEDs can be used to indicate the status of the digital
inputs and outputs or 16 digital inputs only when the 16 DIs are used.
The simulators are an important, as well as a helpful tool for programming and initial operation. They are simply connected into
the loop leading to the peripheral devices.
