4.3 Fundamentals of Special Functions
You will notice that special functions differ from basic func-
tions on first glance because of the differences in the de-
scriptions of their inputs are named. Special functions in-
clude time functions, retentivity and various
parameterization options to adapt the program to your indi-
vidual requirements.
In this section we would like to give you a brief overview of
the input descriptions and provide you with some important
background information about special functions. The indi-
vidual special functions are described in Section 4.4.
