Country
Use the
Country (of residence)
option to indicate the location at which you will install
your set-top box.

Time
Your set-top box receives the date and time automatically via satellite. This time setting
is used by your set-top box as a basis for all actions that require a time calculation.
You will see the currently applicable time setting in the
Time
menu. You can amend this
time setting, for example, if you would like to use your set-top box in a country for which
the
Country (of residence)
option cannot be selected.

Caution:
An incorrect time setting can, among other things, cause incorrect displays in
the EPG and incorrect execution of programmed recordings.

Choose and confirm the country in which you want to connect your set-
top box.
The following settings among others will be adapted in accordance with
your selection:

Time setting

Presetting of a favourite list (depends on variant)

Open the
Time Correction
menu.
The currently set
Time:
and the associated
Date:
are shown in the first
two rows.

Choose the time difference in the
Correction:
field by which the dis-
played time deviates from the actual time valid in your region. Time dif-
ferences of
- 12:00
to
+ 12:00
can be selected. The correction value is
changed by 30 minutes each time you press the button.

Select the Summer Time option.
If a summer time regulation exists in your region, you can choose one of
the following options:
u
Automatic
: Your set-top box converts the time automatically on the
date applicable for that country (default setting).
u
Manual
: You make the time change yourself.

Confirm your input in order to activate the new time setting.
