Setting DTMF signalling for VoIP
DTMF signalling, for example, is required to check and control some network mailboxes via
digit codes.

Make the desired settings for the DTMF signals in the
DTMF over VoIP Connections
area.
Specify how key codes are to be converted and sent as DTMF signals: as audible informa-
tion in the voice channel or as a "SIP Info" message.
Ask your VoIP providers which type of DTMF transmission they support.

Audio
or
RFC 2833
if DTMF signals are to be transmitted acoustically (in voice
packets).

SIP Info
if DTMF signals are to be transmitted as code.

to save your settings.
