Changing the ringer tone
A range of options is available:
Gigaset S1:

Six volume levels:
– Five volume levels (1–5; e.g. volume level 2 =

Settings for external calls, time control and name announcement
Set the volume and melody depending on the type of ringing. You can also set the vol-
ume of a call to be dependent on the time it is received (e.g., nights quieter as during
the day).

Setting the ringer melody on the handset is only effective, if the
external
ringer MT
is set instead of a ringer melody(page 115) for the incoming
MSN of the handset.
