4.9 Execute commands
Commands can be executed in two ways:
l
Object-oriented command execution
– Here, first select the target object and then the command on which the
target object is to be executed.
– Navigation in the 'Topology' and the 'Element search' is object-oriented.
l
Function-oriented command execution
– Here, first select a command and then the target object on which the
command is to be executed.
– The use of the 'Functions' menu is function-oriented.
In the fire detection system, these two methods of entering commands are
combined in the interest of a better overview during the selection. It is possible to
switch between the two methods during the command entry sequence.
Exit the navigation or command execution
l
Press the darkened area outside the currently opened dialog window.

The navigation or command execution is canceled.

The start screen is displayed.
4.9.1 Execute commands – object-oriented
Commands are executed by pressing the touch-sensitive area of the corresponding
button. The touch-sensitive areas are depicted in the following example as well as
in the instructions given.
'OFF' command: Object-oriented execution
1. Press 'Lower level' in the 'Detection tree' list entry.

All 'Areas' in the 'Detection tree' are displayed.
2. Press 'Lower level' in an 'Area' list entry.
