Monitoring
Extreme settings
Certain ventilation parameters are limited by Carina
to a threshold value. Extreme values can only be
set after confirmation by pressing the rotary knob.
In the event of an alarm
If the alarm message, e.g. » MV high !! «, appears
in the alarm line on the screen.
Carina assigns the message an appropriate level of
priority. The message is displayed on a different-
coloured background and the text is highlighted
with exclamation marks according to priority.
An alarm tone sequence is generated. The alarm
tone can be configured, see page 91.

flashes or lights up red or yellow.
Alarm with the highest priority
Message appears on a red background and is high-
lighted with three exclamation marks.
Example:
» MV low !!! «
Carina generates a five-tone sequence which is
sounded twice and repeated every 13 seconds.

Audio paused 2 min. « button
flashes red.
Alarm with medium priority
Message appears on a yellow background and is
highlighted with two exclamation marks.
Example:
» MV high !! «
Carina generates a three-tone sequence which is
repeated every 10 seconds.
The LED in the »
Audio paused 2 min. « button
flashes yellow.
Alarm with low priority
Message appears with no background and is high-
lighted with one exclamation mark.
Example:
» Int. battery low ! «
Carina generates a single-tone sequence which is
repeated at intervals of one minute.

lights up yellow.
